Calibration Engineer

MISSIONS / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and drive the measurement policy within the assigned perimeter, acting as a central function to ensure coherence, robustness, and sustainability of measurement practices.
- Develop, deploy, and sustain validated Measurement and Testing Processes (PMEs) in line with entity needs and the HQRI framework.
- Provide measurement expertise to support industrial performance and resolve measurement issues impacting product, process, or supplier quality.
- Ensure industrial robustness and long-term control of measurement systems through calibration, VQM, maintenance, and governance processes.
- Develop and maintain measurement competencies through training, coaching, documentation, and contribution to métier validation.
- Anticipate measurement needs related to product, process, and technology evolutions to ensure industrial readiness.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Measurement needs and evolutions are identified, analyzed, and integrated into the activity investment plan, managed through a structured portfolio approach.
- Measurement and Testing Processes are deployed in compliance with the HQRI approach:
- PMEs are registered, qualified, and validated
- Industrial robustness is demonstrated and monitored over time
- Sustainability provisions are ensured (VQM, calibration, maintenance)
- Stakeholders are trained and qualified
- Documentation is complete, accessible, and effectively applied
- User feedback is capitalized within a continuous improvement process
- Measurement nonconformities are analyzed in terms of uncertainty degradation and associated customer and supplier risks, with full consideration by product, process, and material guarantee functions.
- Measurement systems provide reliable data to support robust industrial decisions and sustained performance.
- Measurement practices and skills sustainability is ensured through network animation, contribution to reference documents, participation in training development, métier validation, and measurement diagnostics.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering (Physics, Mechanical) or related field.
- Experienced in project management and comfortable handling cross-functional projects.
- 3+ years' experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or quality engineering
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Self-directed, resourceful, with a positive attitude; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Fluent in English (B2).
