About the Role:

Are you a passionate and skilled Senior Computer Engineer - Systems Design and Integration looking to make a significant impact? CACI is seeking an experienced professional to join our innovative technical team in the vibrant city of Albuquerque, NM. What You’ll Do:

  • Innovate and Design: Define, design, and develop new computer information systems to meet evolving needs.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with diverse internal teams and users to recommend and implement new hardware and software in a dynamic lab environment.

  • Assess and Specify: Evaluate current architecture and hardware limitations, and design complex computer system specifications ensuring hardware/software compatibility.

  • Specialized Expertise: Leverage your experience with MS Exchange, Active Directory, Domain Name Services (DNS), and VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environments.

  • Deployment Solutions: Build Windows 11 images and utilize tools for mass deployment solutions.

  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve intricate computer compatibility design challenges, testing models, and modifying designs as needed.

  • Automation: Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline software development testing and configuration.

  • Standards and Practices: Ensure adherence to established installation standards and practices.

  • Team Coordination: Interact with development and test teams to seamlessly coordinate system upgrades and test cycles.

  • Documentation: Create comprehensive drawings, User Guides, test plans, procedures, rack elevations, pin-outs, cable connections, equipment maintenance manuals, and other essential documentation.

  • Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative team environment, contributing your expertise and learning from others.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance.

  • Education and Experience: BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience supporting the DoD or other federal agencies in a computer engineering role.

  • Proven Track Record: 4+ years of related experience.

  • Certifications: Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent.

Desired:

  • Advanced Degree: MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

  • Extensive Experience: 5 years of experience in computer information system design, development, and integration of communication networks for fixed and mobile command & control centers.

  • Higher Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
