About the Role
TwelveLabs is at the forefront of video AI technology, transforming how businesses understand and utilize their video data by leveraging our multimodal video foundation model. As an Account Executive for Asia Pacific, you will have a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy and revenue growth across the region. With Korea as the primary market, you will drive expansion across Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and the broader APAC region.
Media & Entertainment is our strongest and most established vertical in APAC, with Advertising as a natural next frontier. This role goes beyond traditional sales execution. We are looking for a business developer who deeply understands customer problems, works hand-in-hand with the product team to shape solutions, and takes full ownership of the deal from first conversation to signed contract.
In this role you will
Manage the entire sales cycle to win new business and drive revenue, from initiating the first customer relationship to negotiating contracts and ensuring customer success.
Own and develop key accounts in Korea while building pipeline across Japan, Southeast Asia, and the broader APAC region.
Develop and validate GTM strategy with the APAC leadership team, testing and iterating on the right approach for each market.
Leverage partner ecosystems, including co-sell opportunities with AWS and APAC resellers, to accelerate deal velocity.
Collaborate closely with the product team to share customer feedback and deliver practical solutions even in the face of technical limitations.
You may be a good fit if you have
7+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a strong foundation in Media & Entertainment, with an emphasis on advertising, and the range to expand into adjacent verticals, with a track record of selling in Korea and/or broader APAC markets.
Solid understanding of AI or multimodal models and the ability to connect AI capabilities to customer business challenges, turning complex concepts into compelling business cases.
Demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, forming your own hypotheses, testing them fast with conviction, building trust across customers and internal stakeholders, and seeing deals through to completion.
Strong partnership collaboration skills, including experience working with cloud providers and systems integrators to accelerate customer adoption.
Understanding of APAC market dynamics, including regional differences in business culture, decision-making processes, and buying behaviors across Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
Native Korean proficiency with strong English communication skills, able to engage confidently with both local customers and global stakeholders.
Based in Seoul with willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events across the APAC region.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup
Exposure to video AI, multimodal AI, or AI SaaS sales
Familiarity with the advertising ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, DSPs/SSPs, or ad measurement workflows
