Your Role:
As the Senior Network Plant Engineer, you will:

  • Lead Multi-Site Projects: Oversee the survey, design, and implementation of OSP/ISP activities, ensuring the deployment of fiber, copper, and power systems meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

  • Develop Engineering Plans: Create and validate engineering plans, ensuring seamless integration of infrastructure into mission systems.

  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Perform rigorous circuit testing and quality checks to maintain safety standards and work site conditions.

  • Mentor and Supervise: Guide ISP/OSP Engineers and subcontractors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Innovate and Optimize: Participate in the design and optimization of supporting infrastructure, driving project success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys and document current ISP/OSP configurations.

  • Develop and finalize SPRIP documents.

  • Perform voltage, amperage, continuity, and safety tests post-installation.

  • Adhere to National Electrical Code and other applicable standards.

  • Oversee restoration of facilities to pre-install or better conditions.

  • Lead the development of engineering implementation plans and project drawings.

  • Identify and resolve complex project problems to mitigate risks.

  • Conduct systems pre-tests and acceptance tests to validate performance criteria.

  • Supervise ISP/OSP Engineers or subcontractors.

  • Plan and lead major technology assignments, including project initiation documentation.

  • Evaluate performance results and recommend changes for project growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • US Citizenship is required and a Secret clearance.

    • Technical BA/BS degree with 7 years of experience, or High School diploma/associate degree with a minimum of 10 years as a Network Plant Engineer.

    • 2 years managing/leading ISP/OSP modernization projects.

    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD).

    • Experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects.

  • Desired:

    • BICSI RCDD certification preferred.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
