Job Description

The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Foundry Planner to manage the weekly execution of our wafer supply chain. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our external foundry partners, ensuring that our production orders are placed, tracked, and delivered on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are critical.

What You Will Do

  • Manage wafer supply logic, capacity forecasting, and the full purchase order lifecycle (placement to reconciliation) with external partners.

  • Ensure that foundry/supplier/tool constraints are identified and accurately profiled in the MRP system to keep supply signals realistic.

  • Monitor the "Work-in-Progress" (WIP) at the foundries daily, identifying any lots at risk of delay and working with the fab to get them back on schedule.

  • Ensure all planning data in our ERP/MRP systems (Oracle/Kinaxis) is accurate, including lead times, yields, and transit times.

  • Work with our logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate the movement of wafers from the foundry to our probe and assembly sites.

  • Create weekly supply status reports for the Business Line teams, highlighting any gaps between our supply plan and actual foundry output.

  • Act as the first line of defense when supply issues arise, working cross-functionally with Quality and Engineering to resolve lot-holds or technical issues at the fab.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables) and experience using an ERP system (like Oracle or SAP).

  • A self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions; you see a delay in the report and you proactively call the fab to find out why.

  • Ability to clearly explain supply status and risks to internal stakeholders in a professional and consultative manner.

  • Extremely organized with the ability to manage hundreds of line items across multiple foundry partners simultaneously.
