Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to meet or exceed customer requirements for quality, cost, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and achieve annual operating plans for sales, expenses, profitability, inventory and return on net assets.
Plan and achieve continuous improvement targets by utilizing Lean Systems and Six Sigma (GROWTTH) for all operating activities.
Develop and execute business strategies with product and market plans to achieve profitable sales growth.
Manage resources and foster cross-functional teamwork to allow for Operational Excellence targets and Policy Deployment goals to be achieved.
Collaborate globally with other sites as needed.
Provide leadership to support Site and Company goals and objectives.
Support the Talent Management process to continuously improve performance and develop personnel skills and behaviors.
Manage the operations to meet the requirements of regulatory agencies, as well as the requirements of all applicable safety and environmental agencies, including Freudenberg’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HS&E) requirements.
Provide leadership to ensure compliance with the Quality Systems and related standards, such as ISO and other standards.
Develop and execute plans for capital expenditures in support of current and future production requirements.
Provide leadership in a cross-functional team environment to ensure the flawless launch of new products and processes to production.
Support development and implementation of new technologies to increase productivity and competitiveness.
Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.
Responsible for the overall safety of the site as Site Executive Officer (SEO).
Responsible for crisis preparation, crisis communication and deciding on the level of escalation in an incident.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Science or related technical field and/or applicable experience.
Master’s degree, such as an MBA is highly desirable.
Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience with medical device and/or healthcare products manufacturing in an engineering and production environment, with 7 or more successful years in a leadership position.
Experience with Annual Operating Plans including budgeting, financial statements, balance sheets, P&L and Capital planning and execution.
Successful experience leading and developing cross-functional teams and organizational talent.
Experience in high volume injection molding processes and extrusion, related mold design, and automation.
Experience using SAP ERP software.
Experience in a metric driven culture.
Experience with good housekeeping practices and ISO standards including ISO 13485:2016.
Travel up to 25%.
