We are looking for a highly motivated
Business Controller, Products and Purchasing
for KONE Supply Chain Europe based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland or Pero, Italy.
The candidate will join the Supply Chain Europe Finance Team. She/he supports key business leaders in driving and monitoring the business performance by providing financial insight. She/he ensures KONE business activities are conducted in accordance with the KONE Financial Control Model (FCM), and that financial impacts are measured and reported following the KONE accounting standards and instructions. The purpose of the role is also to ensure that business KPIs are logical and add value, actions are defined based on performance, and that benefit realizations are delivered. Business Controller is also accountable for executing the planning process according to global guidelines with the business leaders.
The preferred start would be in early Q2 2026.
Your Responsibilities and key activities
Drive business partnering with a strong outside in mindset, ensuring a deep understanding of the business logic, value creation drivers, and dependencies across all key operational processes, relationships, and performance metrics
Act as the key finance professional and trusted advisor across the full value chain, promoting strong finance understanding and full chain profitability thinking within the business organization, and ensuring financial implications are considered in all decision-making
Partner closely with supply chain management, technology, product management, purchasing, and logistics to steer product cost and profitability performance across the entire product life cycle—from roadmap planning and business case preparation to execution, product lifecycle management, and benefit realization—ensuring end to end financial impact is fully assessed
Manage and analyze supply chain financial performance with full chain transparency, providing insights on product cost, full chain profitability, logistics costs, inventory, and other key indicators that support management decision-making and drive value optimization across the entire value stream
Lead Product Cost and Profitability planning and analysis, covering material, manufacturing, logistics, and other value chain cost components, ensuring holistic understanding of cost drivers and improvement opportunities
Facilitating the planning and forecasting processes
Perform or organize the execution of the business controlling tasks as defined in KONE Financial Control Model
Requirements for the role:
At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment, including product cost and profitability planning, analysis and business partnering with supply chain management, technology, product management, procurement and logistics functions
Excellent analytical and communication skills, coupled with the ability to build trust and collaboration among business leaders/stakeholders
Ability to work and influence in a complex matrix organization with a wide range of stakeholders
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
SAP ERP (FICO) and BI knowledge is a must
Good organizational, process planning and change management skills
Fluent in English
M. Sc in Finance or Business Administration
