About the Role

  • Provides knowledge and expertise in instrumentation, instrumented control systems and automation (including Yokogawa), including inspection, troubleshooting and repair.

  • Scope & design and implement instrument and electrical elements of project, end-to-end.

  • Maintain Process Control System, Process Control Networks, all types of instrumentation and Electrical infrastructure of the plant.

  • Maintain all documentation associated with Electricals, Instrumentation, Automation and Communication Networks.

  • Ensure applicable standards & best practices of safety, quality, engineering, environment, and energy efficiency are applied to all aspects of work.

  • Remain on top of performance KPIs for assets under care, analyze their data and devise action plans for continuous improvement.

  • Manage a healthy balance of work between in-house workforce and contractors to effectively implement maintenance activities.

  • Review technical problems, provide direction and guidance and become personally involved in the solution of operational issues.

  • Act as owner for contractors with high-risk job portfolios in the space of I&E. Assist the broader the M&P team for maintaining 100% Process Safety compliance across the plant.

  • Train other technical personnel in the in-house and contractor workforce for improving efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of field experience, preferably in oil & gas or manufacturing. Advantage: Experience of Yokogawa DCS & Foundation Fieldbus Instrumentation

  • Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics or Electrical). Engineers of other disciplines can be considered if experience is relevant to requirements.
