The Position

Job Overview
 

The Delivery Management Professional provides expert guidance on complex deliveries, drives efficiency improvements, influences stakeholder decisions, and mentors others to achieve strategic alignment and support team growth. In this role, you will navigate organizational complexity to define and communicate comprehensive solution visions and roadmaps for large-scale and strategically critical initiatives. Depending on the organization's needs, you may operate within role archetypes such as Project Manager, Program Manager, Service (Delivery) Manager, ITSM Process SME, Scrum Master, RTE, STE, or Agile Coach.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope & Delivery Leadership: Define and champion scope management strategies for high-impact initiatives; navigate complex dependencies and manage significant scope changes with minimal disruption.

  • Strategic Problem Solving: Analyze cross-boundary delivery challenges, mitigate strategic risks, and facilitate consensus across complex, ambiguous environments.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with senior leadership; navigate conflicts, influence key decisions, and align diverse teams.

  • Impact & Agile Championing: Foster a culture of innovation by embedding Agile frameworks, leading organizational change, and optimizing delivery methodologies for maximum efficiency.


Who are you


Experience

  • Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in a Delivery Management archetype (e.g., Program Manager, Scrum Train Engineer, Agile Coach) managing large-scale, complex programs.

  • Change Management: Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and scaling Agile best practices across product lines or domains.

  • Senior Stakeholder Management: A proven history of building strong networks and influencing decisions at the senior management level.


Skills

  • Strict GxP and CSV Expertise: The candidate must have an expert understanding of Computer Systems Validation (CSV), GAMP 5, and 21 CFR Part 11 to manage our systems compliantly.

  • War-Room Audit Support: A critical requirement for this role is experience operating in a high-pressure inspection "war-room," actively supporting regulatory health authority audits and defending the validation state of these systems.
    Timezone nearance to US/EU based business functions is mandatory. (Inspection/Audit intervalls are happening every second week)

  • Niche System Knowledge: They will be managing ValGenesis (eVALRoche), a specialized paperless validation system, alongside N2P, an AWS-based custom Product Complaint Intake system. Both require specific architectural and domain understanding.Business & Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of market trends to shape delivery strategies that align with Roche's broader strategic objectives.

  • Advanced Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical skills to evaluate strategic options and dissect complex delivery issues.

  • Soft Skills & Leadership: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. A strong desire to coach, mentor, and elevate less experienced team members.
