Hospice Administrator On-Call position summary

Our Hospice Administrator On-Call coordinates all aspects of patient and family care outside of normal business hours, and on holidays and weekends. Serves as team leader, providing direction and supervision for the interdisciplinary team members. The Hospice Administrator On-Call communicates as needed with all members of the team, the patient/family, the Medical Director, the Hospice Manager and/or supervisor and others involved in the care of the patient to facilitate optimal care of patients/families.

Minimum qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license in state of Iowa

  • Certified Hospice Nurse is preferred

  • Minimum 1 year acute care experience required

  • Must have reliable automobile, valid driver’s license, and the minimum state required liability automobile insurance
