Additional Information:

Performs Sleep Disorders procedures ensuring quality and clarity of recording along with detailed documentation. Communicates pertinent information to Sleep Lab Supervisor and/or physician as needed.

Required Education:

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma

1. Provides safe and effective patient care that addresses age-specific variations related to clinical, educational, psychosocial and cultural needs.

2. Completes appropriate educational activities to maintain and increase competency, including all required hosptial and departmental in-services, education, and training as assigned.

3. Collaborates with other team members and departments to facilitate patient care across the continuum.

4. Maintains a clean and safe evironment conductive to meeting customer needs and regaulatory standards.

5. Provides feedback, reports, & initiates changes to improve patient care and/or the work environment.

6. Utilizes available standards, literature and research findings to guide evidence-based practice decisions and provide leadership in patient care.
