Job Description
This position will report to the Vice President, Tax and is responsible for the tax compliance of ICONIQ’s private funds, both on the Family Office and Merchant Bank/Growth businesses. This Senior Analyst position will be involved in direct communications with internal teams and external investors. As well as working closely with our administrators, and tax preparers and advisors. Although the role is primarily involved in the tax reporting and compliance, this opportunity provides exposure to all areas of the tax function – including tax due diligence and structuring at the investment level, fund structuring, investor diligence questions, and strategic planning firmwide.
What You’ll Do
- Support the end-to-end tax compliance process for private funds and related entities
- Review and prepare federal, state, and local tax filings, including investor reporting
- Partner with external service providers to ensure accurate and timely filings
- Maintain tax records across fund entities and management company structures
- Assist with investor tax inquiries and reporting needs
- Contribute to foreign reporting and withholding requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams on tax estimates and planning initiatives
- Identify and help resolve tax-related issues across the platform
Ideal Candidate Background
- 2+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a related industry role
- Experience with partnership tax and fund structures preferred
- Understanding of federal and state tax compliance frameworks
- Exposure to venture capital, private equity, or alternative investments is a plus
- Ability to collaborate across finance, legal, and investment teams
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and productivity

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105,000 - $120,000 together with the benefits listed above.
