We’re the IT Desktop Support team at Dexcom Malaysia, the backbone of our IT operations, ensuring every employee stays connected and productive. Our mission is to deliver seamless technology experiences, resolve challenges quickly, and keep the business running smoothly. We thrive on collaboration, problem-solving, and providing exceptional support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Where you come in:
- You will lead endpoint management using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Intune, including application packaging, deployment, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- You design, create, test, and maintain standardized desktop software packages and deployment solutions, with MECM and Intune as the primary delivery platforms.
- You manage Windows 10/11 (or equivalent) operating systems, including OS servicing, security patching, feature updates, and vulnerability remediation using MECM, Intune, and supporting technologies such as SCCM/CMG.
- You perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle support for desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- You act as an escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues, including operating system failures, application issues, and endpoint performance problems.
- You provide advanced technical support to end users, delivering clear guidance and effective resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- You collaborate with global and regional IT teams to define and implement desktop and laptop deployment strategies, including system imaging, Autopilot, and modern device management approaches.
- You evaluate, recommend, and implement endpoint hardware and software solutions to improve reliability, performance, security, and user experience.
- You maintain accurate records of endpoint inventory, configurations, asset lifecycle, and maintenance activities.
- You stay current with modern endpoint management and desktop technologies, proactively recommending improvements aligned with Intune and cloud-first strategies.
- You support and lead desktop-related initiatives such as OS upgrades, endpoint modernization, device rollouts, migrations, and vulnerability remediation programs.
- You implement and maintain endpoint security controls, including antivirus, encryption, compliance policies, and configuration baselines to protect devices from potential threats.
- You mentor and train junior team members, providing technical leadership and promoting best practices in endpoint management and desktop support operations.
- You work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks and managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
What makes you successful:
- You have solid technical foundation in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 (Office 365).
- You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Intune as primary tools for software deployment, patch management, OS servicing, and endpoint compliance.
- You are experience with endpoint and device management, including Active Directory, AD Connect, DNS, DHCP, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- You know scripting or automation experience using PowerShell (preferred), with additional knowledge of VB.NET or batch scripting considered an advantage.
- You have knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- You have ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are customer-focused, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have familiarity with Acronis or similar backup and recovery solutions is a plus.
- You are nice to have IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or equivalent, experience in enterprise-level IT support or manufacturing environments, and familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience with relevant professional certifications (e.g., MCSE or similar) and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
