Registered Nurse – Per-Diem | Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center

We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable per diem Registered Nurse to support both our Outpatient Dialysis services at the Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center. What You’ll Do:
- Educate patients and caregivers on dialysis techniques
- Provide direct patient care in the chronic dialysis unit as needed
- Conduct assessments to ensure patient readiness and safety for home therapy
- Monitor patient progress and troubleshoot issues both remotely and in person
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients transitioning to or from home therapy
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development
This is a per diem position based at our Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center in Queens.
Preferred Criteria:
- At least five years of acute care RN experience in Dialysis
- At least two years of chronic care RN experience in Dialysis
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- BONENT or NNCB certification
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association
