Your Role
We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
Banking of all incoming customer cash (GBP/EUR/USD/SGD)
Weekly production of the aged debt analysis for line manager
Chasing outstanding debts in a timely manner
Preparing customer statements
Assist management accountant with uploading new customers into Navision, including the appropriate credit checks, international and banking compliance checks on all new customers.
Responsible for the credit control inbox and dealing with queries in a timely manner.
Assist management accountant with setting up of all payments (GBP/EUR/USD/SGD)
Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as required
Your Profile
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable working with financial data and documentation
Basic understanding of accounting processes (training provided where required)
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Location: Guildford
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm with one day a week work from home)
