About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer.

In this role, you will:

  • Support initiatives that deliver workable end to end infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in test planning and execution
  • Communicate with end users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates
  • Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets during implementation of store networks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve first level network and wireless issues
  • Present recommendations for resolving ticket requests, and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process, policies and risk controls
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Experience building and supporting production data pipelines.
    • Strong SQL and relational database experience.
    • Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data validation practices.
    • Experience working with structured data formats and APIs.
    • Experience with Python, .NET, Java, or similar backend technologies.
    • Basic understanding of monitoring and alerting for data jobs.
    • Web development exposure (React, Angular, JavaScript) to understand downstream data usage.
    • Ability to support or collaborate on data‑driven web applications.
    • Exposure to DCIM, CMDB, BMS, telemetry, or infrastructure datasets.
    • Work Location - Bangalore / Hyderabad

    Job Expectations:

    Data Pipeline Development

    • Build and maintain batch and near real‑time data pipelines for DCIM datasets.
    • Ingest data from operational systems, sensors, and external sources.
    • Ensure pipelines are reliable, repeatable, and recoverable.

    Data Modeling & Storage

    • Implement relational data models supporting assets, racks, telemetry, and events.
    • Maintain reporting‑ready datasets with consistent structure and naming.
    • Assist with schema evolution under guidance from senior engineers.

    Data Quality & Validation

    • Implement data validation and reconciliation checks.
    • Monitor pipeline health and data freshness.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures and data inconsistencies.

    Performance & Optimization

    • Optimize SQL queries and data structures for performance.
    • Assist with indexing, partitioning, and basic tuning practices.
    • Support scaling efforts as data volumes increase.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with reporting/BI engineers to understand data consumption needs.
    • Collaborate with platform engineers and operations teams on data issues.
    • Document pipelines, datasets, and known dependencies.
