About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Flusher operators, CCTV Operators and Sewer Rehab operators in all required areas
- Clean and maintain equipment and tools
- Ensure Trucks and work areas are clean and orderly
- Comply with and follow company safety policies and procedure
- Setup of safety equipment, traffic signs, harnesses etc.
- Operation of gas detectors for confined space entry
- Ensure all required equipment is available and working effectively
- Utilizing tools and equipment in a safe manner
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Prior construction experience or knowledge of the sewer/construction industry is an asset but not required
- Able to work closely with co-workers as a team
- Must be able to perform manual labour when required
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- DZ license is a must
- Able to travel out of town during the week (20-25%)
- Must have reliable vehicle to meet on job sites on occasion
