DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a Manufacturing Planning Coordinator II, where you'll contribute to optimizing material flow and production efficiency. In this position, you'll ensure timely material staging, maintain accurate inventory management, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll coordinate material movements, support production schedules, and implement best practices in our manufacturing environment. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve customers in the life sciences, biotechnology, and healthcare industries.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma OR GED Required
Experience:
• 1 year of experience in inventory management, material staging, and production scheduling, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or similar industry
• APICS certification preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and transaction processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and manufacturing-related software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate and work with others
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S)
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Detail-oriented with focus on achieving objectives
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 45 pounds with assistance
• Availability to work varying schedules as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials
• Ability to identify and address potential issues
• Dedication to maintaining safety and quality standards
