We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated mold designer to work on advanced optical technology development. Will you help us create the next generation of revolutionary Apple products?

Description

We are seeking a Mold Design Engineer to primarily handle the design of injection molds for new development projects. The precision required for optical components is at the micron or sub-micron level, and the same level of precision is required for molds. Furthermore, mold design engineers must be able to respond accurately and flexibly to new shapes and functions, utilizing their extensive theoretical knowledge. We are seeking the engineers who can independently and proactively meet such challenging demands.

Minimum Qualifications

3 years of experience in mold design for resin products Design experience using 3D-CAD Persons who can proactively think using a logical approach, independently identify solutions, and execute them Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline, or possessing equivalent capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of injection mold design experience Mold design experience for optical components or precision parts  - Lenses, prisms, connectors, mechanical components, etc. Experience designing molds for complex structural molded parts  - Insert molding, slide structures, multi-color molding, etc. Knowledge of simulation techniques such as structural analysis and thermal-fluid analysis Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mold components Experience developing technologies from scratch, or the ability to do so Ability to communicate technical matters in English (Email, meetings, face-to-face)
