Key Responsibilities

  • Thought Leadership Development: Build and execute a scalable thought leadership strategy and content development ecosystem that positions Vanguard as a trusted authority across key client segments.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders, product marketing, communications, and business units to ensure enterprise initiatives are seamlessly integrated into broader marketing efforts.

  • Strategic Oversight: Direct the organization to execute multi-channel campaigns (web, email, social, events, webinars) that deliver measurable impact and resonate with target audiences.

  • Insight-Driven Planning: Leverage industry trends, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights to inform strategic planning and content development.

  • Performance Measurement: Develop and own a robust measurement framework to evaluate marketing effectiveness, track KPIs, and optimize performance.

  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all marketing activities meet compliance, legal, and audit standards, maintaining rigorous controls and governance.

  • Executive Communication: Craft high-impact materials and presentations that articulate marketing strategy, performance, and value to senior stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight years related work experience, three years of marketing experience.

  • Broad knowledge of Vanguard's investment product line-up and an understanding of the overall investment markets.

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
