As a software project manager for Automotive Processors (AP) you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the software product, from definition to maintenance and end of life, delivering per agreed scope, quality and cost.

Your responsibilities

As part of your activities, you will

• lead the projects assigned through all the stages defined in our software development process
• identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• ensure the information flow inside the team, with internal stakeholders and with customers,
• monitor progress, report status
• propose corrective actions
• provide visibility at different management levels into project related aspects
• stimulate the team to focus on achieving the project goals, organize celebrations at project successful deliveries.

Your team

Our team develops a broad range of SW tools designed to help and assist our customers throughout the entire SW development process, combining IDEs and specific components and plugins, to deliver products that are the basis for customer applications development in the area of Connectivity and Security, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Vehicle Dynamics, and General-Purpose Integrated Solutions.

You will report to the Platform Software and Tools Organization of NXP and, together with your team, deliver the next generation of products for all automotive areas.

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience with software project management
• Knowledge of complete software development lifecycle, from requirements to maintenance
• Applied standard project management methodologies and blending them with Agile-based methodologies
• Identified and planned mitigation of risks and issues
• Achieved results in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent English communication skills

Furthermore, it is a plus if you have:

• Technical background in embedded systems
• Technical background in automotive projects and development process.
• Technical background in working with/integrating multiple software deliveries/dependencies.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
