Facilities Services Technician

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Facilities Service Technician to support 24/7 operations at our Indianapolis site.

The Facilities Service Technician ensures safe, reliable facility operations across a multi-building campus. This role handles inspections, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and service coordination to keep systems functional, compliant, and responsive to occupant needs. It also serves as a key contact for building issues, partnering with maintenance, operations, vendors, and site teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs related to structural, architectural, and general building systems
• Complete minor repairs and adjustments (doors, hardware, finishes, fixtures, flooring, lighting, etc.)
• Support preventive maintenance activities and document work through the site CMMS
• Respond to service requests and facility issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution
• Coordinate and escort contractors for on-site service work as needed
• Monitor building conditions to support safety, comfort, sanitation, and compliance
• Assist with building shutdowns, startups, and special projects as assigned
• Support emergency response activities and after-hours callouts when required
• Maintain clear documentation, records, and communication with supervisors and team members
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements

Education:

High school diploma or GED

What Skills You Need:

• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities services, or a related technical field
• Working knowledge of general building systems and facility operations
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, drawings, and procedures

• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, office, or R&D facilities
• Trade exposure or certifications in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or general maintenance
• Familiarity with safety programs, inspections, and compliance requirements

Physical & Work Environment:

This role involves frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and working throughout multiple buildings. The technician may work indoors and outdoors and must be able to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
