About the role
The Senior Project Manager – Low Pressure Metal Injection Molding New Product Development (LP MIM NPD) is responsible for end-to-end ownership of New Product Development activities for Low Pressure Metal Injection Molding. This role leads all project management activities across LP MIM process development, design transfer, and industrialization, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality, compliant products on time and within scope.
The role operates as the central integrator across global quality operation sites and divisional cross-functional teams, driving alignment, risk mitigation, and execution excellence across a complex, multi-site manufacturing network.
Lead MIM NPD programs from concept through commercialization, aligning scope, timelines, and financial targets
Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering development, design transfer, validation, and launch
Drive project governance through stage-gates, milestone tracking, and executive reporting
Oversee MIM process development (materials, molding, debinding, sintering, finishing)
Ensure processes meet capability, scalability, and regulatory requirements
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to enable validation and production readiness
Lead cross-site design transfers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, process parameters, and quality standards
Act as program lead across global sites, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain
Align stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive communication and decision-making
Identify and mitigate risks across technical, supply chain, and manufacturing areas through structured planning and validation strategies
Drive timely issue resolution to protect timelines and deliverables
Apply project management best practices and continuous improvement
Deliver integrated plans, completed stage-gates, successful transfers, and validation-ready processes
Provide clear executive updates on progress, risks, and decisions
Measure success by on-time delivery, budget adherence, effective transfers, and achievement of validation targets (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
6+ years in project/program management in regulated manufacturing
Experience leading NPD and multi-site design transfers
Preferred Skills:
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience with MIM or similar advanced manufacturing
Ability to lead global, cross-functional teams without direct authority
United States of America Pay Ranges:
$123,100 - $205,200 USD Annual
