Automation Engineer Lead Analyst

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Design, develop and implement test automation solutions for the testing of software product.
Define test process including required test activities, deliverables and test schedule.
Understand how changes impact work upstream and downstream including various back end and front-end architectural modules
Closely interact with both onsite and offshore team members. The onsite and offshore interactions include scrum team members (Scrum masters, developers, Product Owners and QA at onsite and offshore)
Define test data conditions and partners and works closely with Data team to obtain the data.
Actively participate in all phases of testing (In sprint functional testing, integration testing and regression)
Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans, test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of tool sets to augment QA and Development testing.
Business requirement analysis, test design, defect logging and tracking
Actively engage in defect reporting and triaging

Experience Required:

3 - 5 years in automation framework development and at least 1 year of experience in AI automation tools/platforms
3+ Years of Agile Experience

Experience Desired:

Actual hands-on experience in programming with Python
Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright, Robot Framework
Deep understanding of GitHub/CI CD pipeline terminologies
Working experience with ETL and API automation frameworks
Deep experience with Docker, Containers and Images
Experience in using GitHub Copilot or similar technologies
Exposure to QA automation AI platforms like ACCELQ and/or LaMDA test

Education and Training Required:

Bachelor or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Primary Skills:

Healthcare, Selenium with Python and Cucumber BDD and/or Python Behave, Robot Framework, JIRA, Test Tool Management
Healthcare, Testing & Agile experience
Cloud Technologies Like AWS

Additional Skills:

Contribute to the vision for the ongoing evolution of automation approach, including any tool or framework changes to ensure ongoing improvement.
Identify and implement improvements within the automation process, streamlining the delivery of automation on an ongoing basis to provide faster feedback to developers
Responsible for E2E orchestration of test cases for parallel test execution in CICD pipeline
Develop deep expertise in the application(s) assigned for automation and apply that knowledge in developing more effective automation solutions and troubleshooting issues that arise.
Execute automation scripts, as needed
Resolve test automation script / framework defects & implement change requests
Participate in test automation tools, methodology & best practices training
Responsible for E2E Integration testing for a given application(s) by effectively coordinating with multiple service providers and navigating across the organization
