Role Summary
Business Analyst responsible for driving end-to-end automation initiatives within the Automation CoE. The role bridges business and technology by identifying automation opportunities, defining requirements, and supporting delivery across Power Platform, RPA, and AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Discovery & Assessment
Identify automation opportunities across business processes
Conduct feasibility analysis and define automation suitability
Create process maps (BPMN / flow diagrams) and as-is / to-be designs
Prepare business cases, ROI estimates, and scope definition
2. Requirement & Design
Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories
Create and maintain documentation (PDD, BRD, SOW, test scenarios)
Collaborate with SMEs to define business rules and data requirements
Support design workshops between business and development teams
3. Delivery & Execution
Work closely with Power Platform / RPA developers to deliver solutions
Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies
Drive unit testing inputs and manage UAT cycles with stakeholders
Ensure solution aligns with business objectives and CoE standards
4. Deployment & Support
Support go-live, hypercare, and transition to support teams
Analyze production issues, exceptions, and improvement opportunities
Drive change requests and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in bot/app monitoring and operational reporting
Technology Exposure
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
RPA tools (UiPath / Power Automate Desktop / Blue Prism)
Microsoft Copilot Studio / AI Builder (basic understanding)
Process mining / analytics tools (nice to have)
Required Skills
Strong requirement gathering & stakeholder management
Process analysis and workflow documentation
Feasibility analysis and business case creation
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery model
UAT management and defect tracking
Strong communication and business translation skills
Qualifications
3 to 4 years of experience as BA in IT / Automation projects
Experience in Power Platform or RPA projects is required
Bachelor's degree in IT / Engineering / Business
Certifications (Agile / Scrum / Power Platform / RPA) – preferred
