Manage large and small scale manufacturing projects to support the plants and new product development. Evaluates, designs and implements manufacturing processes and equipment.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate, develop and implement manufacturing process and equipment.
- Manage large and small scale manufacturing projects to include project timelines, capital requests and budget responsibility.
- Lead new equipment purchase and support on-site installation.
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementation of new processes, process changes, or significant manufacturing footprint changes.
- Provide support to manufacturing operations including new product introductions, cost savings analysis, quality initiatives, compliance initiative, and plant closures/idling of operations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years manufacturing and/or process engineering experience.
- Significant experience in manufacturing process, including assembly in large scale production operations.
- Proven successful record of managing multiple large scale ($1 million) engineering projects.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project and CAD programs (AutoCAD).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills with a deadline orientation and focus.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- CNC programming knowledge and/or experience.
- Product development support experience.
- Lean Process experience (Green or Orange Belt, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, or comparable problem solving certification)
Salary range for position: $105k - $125k
