The Surgical Technologist ensures that necessary instruments, supplies and equipment are picked according to physician's preference card. Assists the surgeon during various procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, draping patient, etc. maintaining sterile technique.
Demonstrates timeliness of procedure set-up and turn-over cases within appropriate time frame.
High School Diploma required
Completed Surgical Technology Program from Accredited School/ Program.
NBSTSA certified
2-4 years of experience in the Operating Room,
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lift (up to 25lbs) and pushing of instrument carts.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Certification/Licensure
Certified Surgical Technologist-required
Current BLS - required
Per Diem, Various Shifts
Salary Range: $36.314/hr - $46.55/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
