Description:

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Thrift Store or Gift Shop Associate with previous experience in a non-profit, merchandising, charitable organization, or volunteer-driven environment.

About the Role

Must be able to work every weekend in this position.

Must be have Retail exp. and work with volunteers a must.

This position supports the daily operations of our thrift store and plays a key role in helping us further our mission in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers, providing a positive, welcoming shopping experience
  • Receive, sort, and organize donated items
  • Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays
  • Support volunteers working on the sales floor or in the back room
  • Operate the cash register and process sales accurately (if applicable)
  • Assist with general store upkeep and daily operational tasks
  • Uphold the organization’s mission and represent our values in all interactions

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a non-profit, thrift store, or volunteer environment preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
