We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Thrift Store or Gift Shop Associate with previous experience in a non-profit, merchandising, charitable organization, or volunteer-driven environment.About the Role
Must be able to work every weekend in this position.
Must be have Retail exp. and work with volunteers a must.
This position supports the daily operations of our thrift store and plays a key role in helping us further our mission in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing a positive, welcoming shopping experience
- Receive, sort, and organize donated items
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays
- Support volunteers working on the sales floor or in the back room
- Operate the cash register and process sales accurately (if applicable)
- Assist with general store upkeep and daily operational tasks
- Uphold the organization’s mission and represent our values in all interactions
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a non-profit, thrift store, or volunteer environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
