Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer, the IT Support Engineer performs basic programming and scripting tasks to support automation, system integration, reporting, dashboards, and troubleshooting efforts. This includes modifying existing scripts, developing simple utilities, and assisting with data extraction or configuration tasks as required by business and operational needs.

In addition, you provide technical support to end users across software, hardware, and systems managed by the IT department, including telephony and communications platforms. You are responsible for performing periodic preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the reliability, security, and proper operation of IT equipment and services. The role also involves participating in system-related projects and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and implement software and hardware initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

·         Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, printers, and related peripheral equipment.

·         Provide technical support to end users for software, hardware, and system-related issues.

·         Perform and manage preventive and corrective maintenance for computer equipment, printers, and servers to ensure reliable operation.

·         Identify, recommend, and implement IT solutions in collaboration with business departments to support company objectives.

·         Manage and support IT-approved computer equipment in accordance with department standards.

·         Administer user accounts, access rights, and permissions across multiple information systems.

·         Maintain accurate inventory records for IT-approved hardware and equipment.

·         Ensure compliance with established IT policies, procedures, and security standards.

·         Administer and maintain physical access control systems.

·         Administer and maintain CCTV systems.

·         Understand, follow, and support quality system procedures.

·         Manage vendor relationships.

 

 

Required Education, Experience & Skills

·         Programming languages ​​C# .net, VB.net, JavaScript, PHP.                    

·         Knowledge of SQL Database

·         Two years of experience in a similar position.

·         Proficiency in computer applications

·         Windows operating systems

·         Knowledge and mastery of computer hardware and software

·         Fluency in spoken and written English (70%)

·         Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks

Preferred Qualifications

·         CCTV systems

·         Tress system

·         Axtrax physical access control system

  • Advanced certifications such as ITIL, MCSA, CCNA, Azure Administrator, or PMP.

·         Experience with IT service management platform ServiceNow.

·         Experience in task automation for systems administration.
