JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hemodialysis Trainee is the entry-level position for the role of Hemodialysis Technician. The Hemodialysis Trainee initiates, monitors and discontinues outpatient hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of an RN and a preceptor (during the orientation period). The technician trainee has 18 months from hire date to pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam. The scheduling and payment of the exam is solely the employee’s responsibility.
