As a part-time early childhood teacher at Gallup’s Child Development Center (CDC), you will teach Gallup associates’ young children in a fun educational environment. In our play-based classrooms, indoor water room, indoor gyms and outdoor playground, you will create engaging activities that cultivate a love for learning and social development for each child.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow your teaching skills in a supportive, strengths-based environment
  • Work with a team of experienced teachers to support program philosophy
  • Observe behaviors, plan activities and facilitate learning for young children
  • Interview and collaborate with world-class teachers about milestone development, classroom management, parent communication and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Access professional books and curriculum materials
  • Learn about strengths spotting in young children and foster their development in areas where they uniquely shine

What You Need

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma
  • A passion for working with children ages 8 weeks to 5 years required
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds required
  • A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Omaha office at least four days a week within the hours of 3-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, required; schedule is flexible, but must work at least 10 hours per week
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship

Gallup offers several benefits for part-time associates, including a fully vested 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching, an employee stock ownership program and an employee assistance program. We also offer an estimated hourly range of $16-$18 for this role. Hourly pay is based on a variety of factors, including an individual’s education, experience and skills.
