Meet the team:
Join our dynamic IT department at Dexcom, where innovation meets expertise in cost accounting within our Oracle EBS environment. As a crucial member of our team, you will be at the forefront of optimizing cost accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. With a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Dexcom's financial operations while working alongside talented professionals who share your passion for excellence. This position will involve supporting multiple APAC IT projects and may entail leading small projects as needed. Dexcom has regional teams in APAC, EMEA and US and this role will be functionally part of this wider team and will operate within its governance framework.
Where you come in:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large, cross-functional IT and IT/OT projects across multiple regions, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with business objectives, timelines, budgets, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define project scope, business requirements, solution approaches, and delivery strategies.
- Engage early with business and IT stakeholders during project intake and initiation phases to shape scope, feasibility, and delivery approach.
- Drive project execution through all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, resource coordination, testing, deployment, change management, and transition to support.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, budgets, communication plans, risk registers, and key project metrics to ensure effective project control and visibility.
- Coordinate project activities across business functions, application teams, infrastructure teams, and external partners to deliver scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
- Support project prioritization and planning activities by providing input on dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery impact across the project portfolio.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints while ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical concerns.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, project management methodologies, change control processes, validation requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, status reviews, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting to drive alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making.
- Manage project financials, including budget tracking, vendor deliverables, contract commitments, forecasting, and cost management activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery effectiveness, streamline processes, and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives across IT and business functions.
- Contribute to PMO best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project delivery maturity.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior project managers or team members to strengthen overall delivery capability.
- Support additional strategic initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.

- Proven experience managing medium-to-large-scale IT projects and programs within complex global organizations.
- Strong project leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver successful business outcomes.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, resource management, execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Strong understanding of business processes and technology solutions supporting Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Finance, and Enterprise Systems.
- Experience leading complex system implementations, integrations, cloud initiatives, digital transformation programs, and business process improvement projects.
- Skilled in project planning, requirements management, Level of Effort (LOE) estimation, risk management, dependency tracking, and project governance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, competing demands, geographically distributed teams, and third-party vendors in a fast-paced global environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational change management capabilities.
- Experience operating within regulated environments, including validation, compliance, quality, audit, and change control requirements.
- Experience supporting ERP, MES, Quality Systems, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial Applications, or other enterprise technology platforms.
- Experience within Medical Device, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience within global organizations.
- PMP certification required or strongly preferred; Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent) are an advantage.
