Responsibilities:
You provide competent HR support for a defined employee group and ensure compliance with all labor law requirements – in close cooperation with managers and the works council
You assist in preparing and forwarding all payroll-relevant data to our external payroll provider, ensuring adherence to all legal and company-specific regulations
You provide support with administrative tasks as part of HR project work
You support the administration of the annual salary adjustment process
You maintain all relevant master data accurately and serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external inquiries
You handle various administrative tasks such as preparing job references, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems
Qualifications:
You have completed your commercial training or hold an equivalent qualification
You have first professional experience in HR, ideally from a large industrial company
In addition, you have a basic understanding of collective bargaining agreements (chemical industry) as well as income tax, labor, and social security law, and possess general HR knowledge
You have experience using a payroll system, preferably Loga
You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel—knowledge of Workday is a plus
You work thoroughly, independently, and reliably, and you bring loyalty, commitment, and team spirit to the role
You have very good written and spoken German skills (C1) and good written and spoken English skills (B2)
