Senior Design Engineer

Position Summary
 As a key role of product development team, Design Engineer works with Engineering Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer and Validation Engineer closely to be responsible for hydraulic control module and solenoid products design.
 Work by following Borgwarner Product Development Plan

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Good at info share and cross function cooperation with Engineering Team, supply chain team and global to accomplish competitive designs
• Being responsible for product design to meet both BW and customer requirement.
• Being responsible for technical review with suppliers
• Be responsible for design release including drawings, engineering documentation such as components spec, stack up, design change etc.
• Being responsible for all design related support, including design review, design status update, VAVE, testing fixtures, brain storm, LL share, etc.
• Summary report was required by end of design release.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above (required) in Mechanical & Hydraulic in Automotive  (preferred)
• At least 2 years working experience in OEM or automotive supplier (required), experience on transmission or hydraulic system or solenoid (preferred)
• Can-do & self-learning attitude, be able to work with pressure
• Be interested in the design activities, good at Catia V5, GD&T, MS Office (required)
• Language skills: English (required)
• Transmission control system knowledge (preferred)
• Good at invention (preferred)
