That’s exactly the type of person we’re looking for to help coordinate AMA’s community engagement events and activities to help build our brand.

  • You love the challenge of breaking through the clutter with innovative, creative, and impactful ways to train school patrol teams and undertake community events.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Report to the Supervisor, Community Engagement.

  • Provide administrative support including Equipment and Inventory Management.

  • Coordinate AMA events and liaise with staff, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and deliver effective AMA school safety programs to ensure ongoing operation excellence.

  • Represent AMA as a brand ambassador with all of AMA’s community partners.

  • Promote key AMA advocacy messaging while helping to enhance AMA’s brand in the community.

What You Bring to the Table

  • You have a high school diploma or post-secondary diploma in related fields. A Degree in communications, marketing, early childhood development or community development is an asset.

  • You have one to two years of experience in applicable fields, such as public relations, program coordination, event management, sponsorship and print production is an asset.

  • Your demonstrated communications or marketing skills would be considered an asset.

  • You hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and access to a personal vehicle.

  • You can produce a bondable, vulnerable sector reference check (police check).

  • You have some first aid training or willing to take first aid training.
