Mailroom Fulfillment Associate Part Time

Summary:

Busy newspaper warehouse and mailroom position. We are looking for a self-starter and quick learner to join our team helping to get our local newspapers into the hands of our readers. This position requires the ability to work a flexible  schedule with hours of 5:15 pm up to 2:30 am, Saturday start time 4:30 pm(+/-).

What you will do:

• Feed inserts into our SLS 2000 insert machine

• Take bundled newspapers off of our Quipp stacking machines and place on skids

• Shrink wrap skids and stage for delivery

• Light maintenance

• Reports to mailroom supervisors and or manager

• Help Supervisor with loading and unloading truck of inserts

• Assist logging inserts into Web Exchange program

• Clean up after shift

What you will bring:

• Able to operate a forklift and or motorized pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse

• Good mechanical aptitude, ability to understand and work with machinery and equipment

• Attention to detail, accuracy and precision in handling materials and documentation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the work day

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly range is $12.00 - $15.00 + one time sign on bonus. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
