Maintenance Supervisor

Where will you work: - Colonsay, Saskatchewan.

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates maintenance activities within an industrial environment. This role provides hands-on support to maintenance personnel by troubleshooting equipment issues through direct observation and applying knowledge gained from prior operational experience.

What will you do?

• Follow and actively promote Mosaic’s Health and Safety Programs and Standards, ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with company requirements.

• Establish and enforce internal work standards, holding the organization accountable to agreed‑upon practices and expectations.

• Execute all preventive and predictive maintenance job plans in accordance with established schedules.

• Develop daily work schedules based on weekly plans, production priorities, and outage requirements. Execute weekly routine maintenance workflows within the assigned area of the facility.

• Review work order feedback to ensure accuracy and completeness and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and maintenance effectiveness.

• People Management: Provide clear work direction along with timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees understand their roles, responsibilities, business objectives, and performance standards. Address performance issues as required. Develop and coach employees to support retention, skill growth, and long‑term career development at Mosaic.

• The Main Shop Supervisor is accountable for the safe planning, coordination, and execution of all customer work assigned to the Main Shop. This includes ensuring the shop is maintained to a high standard and that employees have access to the appropriate tools, parts, and resources required to complete their work efficiently.

• Provide support to the Hoist and Shaft group as required, including relief supervision during the absence of the Hoist/Shaft Supervisor.

What do you need for this role?

• High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

• At least three (3) years of hands-on experience working in a mining operation.

• Valid Supervisor’s Certificate issued by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety.

• Valid Class A First Aid certification.

• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• SAP experience is considered an asset.
