About the role
Liquid Personnel is looking for a hands-on leader passionate about delivering exceptional care to young adults? If so, Liquid Personnel is looking for an Operational Lead for its client at Blackpool to manage a specialist residential service supporting 16–25-year-olds with complex needs, including mental health challenges, learning disabilities and complex healthcare requirements.
This is a unique and rewarding role that combines Registered Manager responsibilities with broader operational leadership across a dynamic and evolving service. You will play a vital role in driving regulatory excellence, developing staff, and achieving impactful care outcomes.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Hold CQC registration and ensure full compliance with care standards across all homes.
- Lead and develop a team delivering high-quality support to young adults with emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, and daily operations.
- Drive occupancy, performance, and quality assurance throughout the service.
- Build strong relationships with professionals, commissioners, and families.
- Effectively manage resources, staffing rotas, and budgets.
- Promote a culture of learning, safeguarding, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience managing in a CQC-registered care setting.
- Qualified to Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care.
- Strong skills in team leadership, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
