Job Description:
Role Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large, complex, and high‑risk customer programs across EMEA. The role provides strategic oversight across multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring programs are delivered within agreed scope, time, budget, and quality expectations. This position combines strong leadership, financial accountability, and senior customer engagement, operating with significant autonomy and executive exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Financial Accountability
- Lead the delivery of complex customer programs spanning single or multiple regions.
- Own overall program performance, including scope, schedule, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage full program financials, including P&L responsibility and accurate forecasting.
- Ensure programs meet or exceed SOAR‑approved budgets and contractual obligations.
- Proactively manage high‑risk legal and commercial issues, escalating as required through governance channels.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior point of contact for executive‑level customer stakeholders.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customers, partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Frequently represent the organization in external customer engagements and strategic discussions.
Program Governance, Risk & Growth
- Establish and maintain robust governance, reporting, and escalation structures across assigned programs.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program‑level risks and interdependencies.
- Support early opportunity qualification and assessment for large and complex opportunities.
- Act as opportunity manager for high‑risk or strategic deals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing customer engagements.
People & Team Leadership
- Lead and coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams, both internal and external.
- Mentor and support the development of project and program team members.
- Provide structured performance input and development recommendations for assigned resources.

- Customer programs delivered predictably on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Transparent, reliable financial forecasts with strong cost and margin control.
- Strong customer relationships resulting in high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Engaged, high‑performing delivery teams with clear direction and professional development.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Education & Experience
- First‑level university degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically 7–12+ years of experience in project and program management or related roles.
- Proven experience delivering large, complex services programs in a customer‑facing environment.
- Experience managing multi‑region or multi‑country programs is strongly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced understanding of services delivery operations, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- Recognised subject matter expertise in program and project management practices.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership.
- Ability to operate independently and make complex decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Active contributor to the company’s project and program management professional community.
Certifications
- PMP certification required.
