The Position

The Opportunity

Roche Pharma Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the strategic engine for data-driven decision-making. Operating within our Finance department, you will bridge the gap between complex data and strategic execution by blending internal metrics with external market intelligence. Additionally, you will lead advanced market research initiatives to track market share, map patient journeys, and decode competitive dynamics across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Insight Generation: Blend internal data (Sales, CRM) with external market intelligence (epidemiological, macroeconomic) to create interactive dashboards and strategic recommendations.
• Competitive Intelligence: Establish a proactive framework to monitor industry shifts and deliver high-impact competitor briefings to disease area teams.
• Market Research: Design and coordinate primary and secondary research projects, manage external vendors, and optimize secondary market data structures (e.g., IMS).
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with therapeutic business units and Finance to inject robust, data-backed assumptions into forecasting, launch planning, and business cycles.
• Compliance: Ensure all data, insight generation, and research practices strictly adhere to Saudi compliance regulations and Roche global policies.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA/Master's is a plus).
• Experience: 3–5 years as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Market Research Specialist, ideally within the Saudi Arabian pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau), hands-on experience with qualitative/quantitative market research, and experience using generative AI tools for data synthesis.
• Core Competencies: Strong conceptual thinking, excellent presentation and influencing skills, a proactive self-starter mindset, and alignment with Roche’s VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leadership model.
