Your mission : 

An internship opportunity titled :  Cybersecurity Intern  has just opened at Airbus India located in Bengaluru, India. You will join the "Digital Security" department.

Ideally, this is a 6-month internship and it should start in January 2027 (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

• Assisting in day-to-day cybersecurity operations, monitoring security events, and supporting risk identification across enterprise IT systems.
• Collaborating with internal teams to track risk mitigation activities, support compliance reviews, and help implement core security best practices.
• Supporting the creation of security reports, dashboards, and documentation to communicate security updates across functional groups.

Your tutor will support you, identify your professional objectives and develop your skills.

This internship will allow you to develop the following skills: 

•  A broad understanding of enterprise cybersecurity domains, risk and vulnerability management, and information security governance.
• Hands-on experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and technical negotiation in a global corporate environment.
• Skills in security reporting, risk communication, and evaluating enterprise security posture.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

You possess the following competences:

• Technical skills :
  • Fundamental understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts, networking fundamentals, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Basic awareness of IT security principles, risk management concepts, and common security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI) or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for metric tracking and task automation.

• Soft Skills :
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport, collaborate effectively across diverse teams, and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to tactfully discuss target remediation dates, manage pushback from technical teams, and achieve win-win outcomes for operational security.
  • Proactive & Autonomous: Drive to take initiative, solve problems logically, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Language skills :
  • English : Fluent
