Position Overview:

Join our dynamic, GROWING, acute rehabilitation team! Our 58-bed program is CARF-accredited for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cancer rehabilitation. We provide individualized, high quality, patient-centered rehab care working with a multidisciplinary team that includes rehab physicians, PT/OT/ST, Recreation Therapy, Neuropsychology, Rehab Nursing, Social Workers, and RN Case Managers. We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and achieving positive outcomes for returning patients home. Summary:

Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.

EDUCATION:
Master's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.

DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

Pay Range is $61.92 to $77.39 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
