More about the role
We’re looking for a Key Account/Business Development Manager Office & Industry to join our End User team in Sweden.
As a Key Account/Business Development Manager you will be responsible for growing partnerships with large office developers and ecosystem partners in the Stockholm region. You will drive complex projects, build long-term relationships, and position Signify as the preferred partner for Smart buildings with sustainable and connected lighting solutions.
What you’ll do
Build and grow senior-level relationships with end users, specifiers, and consultants, with a strong focus on large developers and complex projects in the Stockholm region.
Drive specification and early project influence by positioning Signify’s differentiated value propositions (Connectivity, Sustainability and Wellbeing) with end users and consultants
Own and expand strategically important key accounts, with the ambition to make Signify the preferred partner for smart lighting
Work closely with internal stakeholders (sales teams, management, and specialists) to shape business cases, evaluate opportunities, and decide where Signify should invest to win
Your qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of senior, consultative sales or business development experience, ideally in complex, project-driven or solution-based environments
Proven ability to build and leverage a strong professional network, particularly with end users, consultants, developers, or similar senior stakeholders
Demonstrated experience working with long sales cycles, where success depends on strategic influencing, specification work, and patience rather than quick transactional deals
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage senior decision-makers internally and externally and to navigate complex ecosystems
Business mindset with resilience and maturity, understanding that results take time and that building something sustainable is more important than short-term targets
Bachelor's or master's degree
Native Swedish speaker and fluent in English
