Responsibilities:

  • Independent management of improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality across Freudenberg Chemical Specialties (FCS) business units globally, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Project Management

  • Guiding the OpEx program in alignment with FCS BU senior managers and FCS Shared Services, assessing the maturity of the operational excellence program, developing the appropriate roadmap, and supporting the implementation, including integration of newly acquired units

  • Planning, development, and improvement of Lean Six Sigma training content and execution, including White Belt, Lean Leader, and Green Belt programs

  • Leading, promoting, and sustaining Kaizen events and improvement projects, while supporting leaders in their learning and development

  • Coaching individuals involved in management and processes during the implementation of the operational excellence program

  • Implementing and maintaining a best practices sharing platform, as well as communication strategies

  • Organizing the OpEx award

  • Serving as the primary contact for representatives from regional business units

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (mandatory).

  • Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma required.

  • Several years of experience in Lean projects, Kaizen development, and operational excellence.

  • Curiosity about new areas of work and a willingness to innovate existing systems

  • Willingness to travel internationally – approximately 50% travel time expected

  • This is a remote position, so working from Munich, Germany is not a must

  • Strong moderation and communication skills, particularly in conflict and change management situations.
