About the role
Core Responsibilities
- Uses quantitative and qualitative inputs to measure investment success of assigned funds and managers. Develops and presents investment opinions at various forums.
- Develops search plans, sources and manages interactions with potential managers. Documents notes and opinions on manages and advocates for fund and manager changes.
- Maintains strong investment industry knowledge. Utilizes manager evaluation tools and databases, and provides recommendations on new tools when appropriate.
- Develops and maintains key internal and external relationships with partners and managers.
- Serves as client portfolio manager and subject matter expert for assigned funds. Presents on fund performance and investment strategy to both internal and external audiences. Delivers investment reviews to clients and articulates Vanguard's stance on investment related issues. Supports internal business partners as required.
- Provides input on fund positioning to clients and prospects. Communicates cash flow predictions to product management team. Advocates for new product development and enhancements to existing products.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Five years related work experience, including three years experience in portfolio management, analysis, and investment manager evaluation.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
