Job Title
Senior Accountant (Japanese Speaking)

Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant role.
Job specification
- Take full responsibility for end-to-end accounting for assigned Japanese clients;
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, trial balances, and financial statements in a timely and accurate manner;
- Manage AP/AR/GL operations and maintain accounting records in compliance with JGAAP/IFRS;
- Coordinate with Tax advisor for Tax preparation and filing
- Coordinate with Auditor for Audit report;
- Coordinate with Tokyo Team and respond to requirements from Clients on timely basis;
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance efficiency in accounting operations
- Any other duties in the scope of the role that the company requires.
Skills Required:
- Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) is required; English (reading and writing) is preferred
- Experience supporting Japanese clients, with solid knowledge of JGAAP is required
- Strong motivation to learn and develop a long-term career in accounting
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP, Yayoi, or similar accounting systems is preferred
- CPA/ACCA participator is a plus.
