Minimum work experience: 3-7 Years 
 

At least 2 out of  Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL

Detailed JD: 

•             Deep knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.

•             Experience in managing and maintaining geographically dispersed Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL environment.

•             Strong understanding of Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL platform, configuration dependencies and licensing

•             Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL high availability solutions and replication

•             Understanding of Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL security concepts, risks, and best practices

•             Experience in backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions

•             Deep knowledge about optimal deployment and management of Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases

·                  Ability to collaborate with project teams to plan, design and implement secure and optimal database solution adequate to their needs.

·                  Cloud knowledge – DBaaS solutions on Azure (Azure PostgreSQL, Azure MySQL) and AWS (RDS); storage solutions, monitoring, backup/restore, VMs. – Good to Have

·                  Deep knowledge of Linux – Mandatory

·                  Scripting ability to automate processes and daily tasks. – Basic Level PowerShell - MSSQL

·                  Experience within development area (be able to code on basic level and be familiar with devops concept).

·                  Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing databases.

Good to have

·                  Other programming languages knowledge – Python

·                  MSSQL knowledge – for Windows

·                  Knowledge of Microsoft Server environment and components

Key Skills and Competencies: 

·                  Must be able to work independently, communicate with business users and document requirements & architectures.

·                  Good documentation skills.

·                  Good analytical and decision-making skills using data & experience.  

·                  Good written & verbal - communication & presentation skills.  

·                  Technical background with demonstrated skills in at least one or multiple IT technologies / disciplines 

·                  Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects at a time.

Note:

Shift: 24X5 (Morning, Afternoon and Evening )
Some Day : On Call night Shift and On Call - Weekend
