Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Define and implement sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials business and supply chain objectives in alignment with the respective global segment lead.

  • Lead commercial negotiations with domestic suppliers to secure optimal cost, quality, service conditions and concludes contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor market dynamics, cost drivers, and supply risks to support informed purchasing decisions.

  • Develop, manage, and maintain purchasing forecasts; oversee inventory levels, including excess and obsolete materials (SLOBs).

  • Supplier Management

  • Evaluate, select, develop, and maintain a qualified supplier base.

  • Monitor supplier performance against contractual, quality, delivery, and service requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance performance and reduce risk.

  • Financial & Budget Management

  • Prepare, manage, and control the purchasing budget.

  • Deliver cost savings and productivity initiatives in line with annual targets.

  • Ensure governance of purchase orders issued by multiple departments, including compliance with quotation and approval requirements.

Additional responsibilities

Import & International Logistics

  • Oversee international logistics activities and customs processes to ensure timely and compliant material flow.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with corporate procurement policies, internal controls, and external regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate and support  supplier quality audits in alignment with the Integrated Management System (IMS).

  • Promote standardization, process optimization, and continuous improvement across procurement activities.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or sourcing roles, preferably within manufacturing or consumer goods environments

Specific Knowledge

  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strategic planning and analytical decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Data-driven analysis of purchasing trends and demand planning.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, IBP, BI).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
