What you’ll do
• Warehouse Organization: Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, or overhead jib cranes. Locate and pull parts of various sizes and materials to fill machining, assembly, and customer orders. Daily tasks include maintaining an organized warehouse following 6S principles to ensure everything has a place.
• Shipping/Receiving Tasks: Prepare products for shipment properly, considering packaging, size, weight, safety, and customer requirements including domestic and export standards. Coordinate shipments with other Tucson locations and the Salt Lake City distribution center, managing twice-weekly shipments.
• Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy by performing weekly cycle counts and assisting with inventory management. Keep detailed records and track inventory to support operational efficiency.
• Communication & Coordination: Manage daily email communications to stay on top of tasks, coordinate with team members and other locations to ensure smooth distribution operations.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
• Forklift operation experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter with a proactive and flexible approach
Nice-to-haves:
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems
• Familiarity with inventory control processes
• Experience using online shipping/tracking systems such as RateLinx
• Previous exposure to warehouse 6S or lean organizational practices
