- TS/SCI clearance
- Senior (O5 or above) Army Special Forces officer background with 15 years combined experience in operations and partner nation development at O6-command, TSOC, or NATO SOF HQ level
- Master's degree in international relations or related field
- Graduate of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent military planning course
- 1 year of recent (within the last 5 years) combat or operational experience as part of a combined joint special operations task force or TSOC staff
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with coalition SOF partners
- Joint Professional Military Education Level II or equivalent
